Public Health

Public Health involves training and education to address issues like food deserts and systemic inequalities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts included connecting workers to mobile vaccination clinics and providing safety training. Currently, the Healthy Communities in Action Navigator program is being implemented to educate the community and provide essential food system resources.
