Rights for All: Empowering Businesses, Protecting Workers

Campaign Overview:
Illinois Workers in Action (IWA) is proud to launch the "Rights for All" campaign, aimed at empowering businesses and protecting workers, particularly immigrant workers, by educating employers and workers on their rights and responsibilities. We believe that creating fair, safe, and compliant working environments is essential for the well-being of all employees, regardless of their immigration status.

Educate Businesses on Workers’ Rights: We are dedicated to providing businesses with the knowledge and tools to understand the rights of their employees—immigrant or not. It’s important that businesses respect and comply with labor laws and immigration regulations.
Create Safe Spaces for Immigrant Workers: We aim to ensure immigrant workers have a safe space to learn about their rights without fear of retaliation or discrimination.
Promote Legal Compliance: Help businesses understand their role in creating a compliant, legally safe environment for their employees.
Foster Employer-Employee Collaboration: By working together, businesses and employees can improve the work environment and create a culture of mutual respect and responsibility.
